In the day I guess they used to just use mortar to keep the dirt from caving into the basement. Well what keeps the mortar from caving in?

This is a doorway! HAHAHHAHA

This is the East wall of teh kitchen before the Otherside of it was gutted

STanding in front of the big window in teh kicthen looking back at where the kitchen cabinets and walls for the Master bath and Laundry Room will be.

This is the West wall of the kitchen where the Kids counter will be

Another east wall shot

The South door of teh kicthen leading out to the deck.

This window has got to have the thickest glass i have ever seen. It is at least 1/2 inch thick.

ANother kitchen window shot...

Looking up at the floor of the second floor...

When they jacked the house to level it a few of the support beams were stressed a little too much. Now thats a lot of pressure.

This is above where teh closet for teh master bedroom and the back side of teh new 1/2 bath.

Window that will eventually be removed that is in the closet of teh master bedroom.

Inside the master bedroom closet. Major stress...

Major stretch I mean stress marks.

Upstairs bathroom... OMG the paint on teh second floor is hideous!...

Another upstairs Bathroom shot

Lets move to teh basement.. What a mess.... :(

Previous owners attempt at cable tv wiring.

Main structural Beanm that had been damaged by termites many many many years ago. this was teh cause for teh sag in teh kicthen floor.

SOme of teh supports that were replaced.

Hmmm whats wrong with this picture?? LMAO!

I wasnt kidding that beam was in pretty bad shape

Still more mess....

hmm interesting place for a shelf... 10 feet off the floor

UGH! What a mess

Well the floor joists for the second floor needed to be reinforced. That beat the crap out of our timeline and budget

And another window gone. And another one gone, And another one bites the dust.

JGeesh I sure hope they hold for the next 120 years....

Lets beef up that headder a little

Now THATS a headder LOL.

More bad news. Due to the beefing up of upper floor. We have to drop ceiling lower to accomodate ductwork and such.. :(

Ummm guys i dont think this is quite right

Here a bolt there a bolt with a bolt bolt here and a bolt bolt there E-I-E-I-O

This will eventually be a half bath

hmmm will anyone peek?

thats a pretty high ceiling

Wow I think the door is ok its the wall above that need some help LOL

Wholy chunks of wood Bat-Man its amazing what 3 days of work can do.....

Well the wall needed to be leveled it was leaning. Current theory is that when the tornado in 74 ripped through it put a lot of pressure and the lean.

Hmmm lets add another wall... NOT!!!!

Double the rafters double the pleasure I mean cost LOL

Wow this place had to be cold in winter with not much insulation to speak of

Arent we proud of our door....
